IoTrust, operator of WEPIN wallet, and Metacultures, a global WEB 3.0 cultural performance platform, announced on the 30th that they have signed an MOU for Web3 business cooperation and will provide special digital souvenirs to musical 'Hadestown' attendees.
According to this agreement, IoTrust's enterprise Web3 wallet solution 'WEPIN' will be integrated with Metacultures' 'X-PASS'. WEPIN wallet provides functionality for users to easily create wallets and receive NFTs through social login.
Metacultures is pioneering a new market by combining blockchain technology with cultural performances, and is conducting various businesses including NFT ticket services, metaverse, and membership NFTs.
As the first project of this collaboration, a specially produced digital souvenir NFT commemorating the musical 'Hadestown' performance will be given free of charge to all attendees. Attendees can easily receive NFTs through the 'NFT Hub Link' on the site connected after scanning the QR code provided on the performance ticket and at the venue.
The NFT Hub Link allows users to receive NFTs with just an email address without installing a separate wallet, enabling attendees unfamiliar with blockchain to easily own digital souvenirs. This is a technology developed by WEPIN to increase NFT convenience and lower entry barriers, and is the first application in the cultural performance field through collaboration with Metacultures.
An IoTrust representative stated, "Through this cooperation, we want to provide convenient WEPIN wallets to X-PASS users to increase the accessibility and convenience of the platform and contribute to strengthening the cultural performance ecosystem."

The two companies plan to continue improving Metacultures' user experience using WEPIN wallet and develop new content and IP services incorporating Web3 technology.
