Web3 wallet specialist IoTrust and Bitblue, operator of the virtual celebrity platform 'Alttown', announced on the 21st that they have signed an MOU for Web3 business cooperation. Along with this agreement, IoTrust's enterprise Web3 wallet solution 'Wepin' will be integrated into Alttown.
Bitblue operates 'Alttown', a platform based on virtual celebrities and fandoms. Unlike traditional fandom relationships, fans can receive contribution rewards by investing in their favorite virtual celebrities. Recently, popular virtual celebrities such as Sooptunghoon, Ova, Doju, and Sagong Iho participated in Alttown's beta test, attracting attention.
IoTrust's enterprise wallet 'Wepin' supports companies exploring Web3 services to add-on wallets to their apps or web pages within 5 minutes, minimizing user drop-off during the onboarding process and providing a total solution that allows companies to focus on their core services.
Through the recently launched workspace, companies can now connect and manage wallets within 5 minutes without blockchain development knowledge, using easy-to-use software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).
The two companies' strategy is to upgrade Alttown's user experience through the integration of the Wepin wallet solution and create new content and IP services that incorporate Web3 technology into the platform.
An IoTrust representative stated, "Through this MOU and the integration of the Wepin wallet solution, we want to provide Alttown users with a Wepin wallet simplified by social login, increasing the platform's accessibility and convenience, and contributing to strengthening Alttown's virtual celebrity and fandom community."
A Bitblue representative said, "We expect that the integration of the Wepin wallet solution will play a significant role in improving user experience for Alttown service registration and usage," and emphasized, "Through this opportunity, we will lead the Web3-based virtual IP and content market going forward."
